The Tiger’s View: Updates from Warrensburg Schools

Dr. Ritter is joined by Student Support Services Coordinators Barb Hill and Doug Conley to talk about their roles in providing a variety of supports for our students and families in the school district.

Dr. Ritter discusses how the district will be focusing on Market Value Assets for our students as they graduate high school to demonstrate their college and career readiness. He also discusses how the district is focusing on students gaining real world learning experiences with our business and organizational partners in the community.

Guests Dr. Ann McCoy, UCM's Vice Provost of Academic Programs & Graduate Studies, and Dr. Kyle Cahill, WHS Principal, join Dr. Ritter to discuss some of the partnerships the school district has with the university including opportunities or a new early college program and free tutoring available for all K-12 students.

Director of Academic Services Mrs. Susan Crooks shares about how the Warrensburg School District is providing professional development for teachers, how teachers use AI in the classroom, and how students are experiencing AI in their learning.

Dr. Ritter shares some of the factors for what goes into determining if school is cancelled or announced as an AMI day when there is winter weather.
